Centennial Heroes FAQ

Celebrating 100 years of impact with 100 Heroes. Find answers to your frequently asked questions here.

What are the "100 Centennial Heroes"?

The 100 Centennial Heroes are a distinguished group of alumni, faculty, staff, donors, school partners, foundations, corporations, and community members who have made a lasting impact on Cathedral High School. These honorees embody the school’s mission and values, and their dedication has helped build Cathedral’s legacy of excellence, service, and community over the past century.

Our Centennial Heroes have helped shape Cathedral High School’s community in meaningful and lasting ways. Their impact includes teaching and mentoring students, supporting the school through philanthropy, volunteering their time and expertise, offering free meals to scholars who would have otherwise gone without, helping design campus expansions, providing internships and career opportunities, and more!

What unites them is a shared legacy of service, leadership, and unwavering dedication to uplifting Cathedral’s students.

Yes! Each Centennial Hero will receive one complimentary ticket to the Gala.

While we are honored to recognize your contributions, we also invite those who are able to support this once-in-a-century celebration by becoming a sponsor or purchasing additional tickets. Your generosity will help sustain Cathedral’s mission for generations to come. As Cathedral’s largest annual fundraiser, the Gala plays a crucial role in providing tuition assistance to hundreds of students each year.

This year’s AASF Gala will be unlike any before. In celebration of our 100th anniversary, we’re reimagining the evening as a vibrant Centennial celebration designed to bring together more members of the Cathedral community than ever before.

Instead of a traditional sit-down dinner, guests will enjoy an elegant evening with gourmet food stations, cocktails, inspiring student stories, and opportunities to connect and share memories that span generations of Cathedral’s history.

While we will certainly miss your presence at the Gala, we understand that not every Centennial Hero will be able to attend. Your contributions will be recognized regardless of attendance.

The celebration doesn’t end with the Gala—Cathedral’s centennial year includes a variety of events such as alumni reunions, student showcases, a special Mass, and more. We’ll be sure to keep you informed and invite you to participate in these meaningful moments throughout the year.
