100%

extracurricular participation

Here at Cathedral, we know how important it is for scholars to get involved with extracurricular activities – for personal development, for community connection, and to make them strong college applicants.

That’s why, in addition to after-school activities, we offer “Community Time,” dedicated time during the school for scholars to participate in extracurriculars.

Extracurricular opportunities include:

  • Aerospace Engineering
  • Art Club
  • Athletics Management
  • Board Game Club
  • Book Club
  • Business Cub
  • Campus Ministry
  • Chess Club
  • Event Planning Club
  • Financial Literacy
  • Health Career Club
  • Music Club
  • National Honor Society
  • Open Makerspace
  • Pickleball
  • Potluck Club
  • Self Care Club
  • Senior Planning
  • Speech and Debate Team
  • Spikeball
  • Student Ambassadors
  • Student Council

Each year, we update the clubs and activities we offer based on interest from our students.

Spotlight on:

Health Careers Club

The Health Careers Club was created by two members of the Class of 2027. In this club, scholars interested in healthcare gather to learn about conventional and unconventional career paths in the health sciences, including medicine, nursing, lab sciences, and medical technology. Members are assisted in gaining access to internships in medical fields.

This year, the club raised funds for the homeless communities by organizing bake sales.

Spotlight on:

Student Council

Through Student Council, scholars of all grade levels have the opportunity to engage more fully with the planning and execution of events benefiting student life here at Cathedral.

The elected members of Student Council plan and execute student life events for the student body throughout the school year. They serve as the voice of the student body and work toward bringing student perspectives to the table and ideas to fruition.
