Thank you to Robert Higgins, MD, MSHA, President of Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Executive Vice President at Mass General Brigham, for visiting with Cathedral High School scholars on December 14, 2023. Dr. Higgins spoke about his experiences in the medical field, and how he’s navigated challenges throughout his life to become the success he is today. Dr. Higgins shared how his upbringing and schooling emphasized similar values to those instilled in scholars at Cathedral, such as a focus on academic excellence, commitment to community, treating others with compassion, and the importance of hard work.
